I noticed that my abstract profiles seem to have no effect in the 3D Lut tool. To confirm I made a profile without it, and another with it. No difference, To double check I made an abstract profile with a strong hue shift/rotation. The reulting device link profile showed no effect. I checked the log and it shows just abstract.icc as a generic filler term in the spot where the actual name (hueshift.icc) of my profile should be . It seems that the program is entirely ignoring the abstract profile selected when one is chosen and instead just leaving a generic name.

While I can just run the given code from the log with the correct name, I figure I would open a ticket so the issue can be fixed. I like using the gui. Plus maybe this affects some of the monitor calibrations and could explain why some people say that their calibration doesn’t work?

Below are the first several lines of one of the log files.
