    I have a spyder2express with the original s/w and s/n installed

I have installed displayCAL  and when i select Tools–>Enable spyder2 colormiter it says it Spyder2 successfully enabled.

However on the main screen the instrument is blank.

I have tried pressing the circular arrow repeatedly but it does not populate the instrument drop down.

Therefore the Calibrate & Profile option is “greyed” out.

I now realize I have a spyder2express and not a spyder2 so this may be an issue = however I cant see any way to “untick” the menu Tools–>Enable spyder2 colormiter

I originally had the S2E plugged into a USB 3.0 port but now it is in a usb 2.0 port

Is there any one with advice on how to fix this issue

    thank you

    Noel

    Hi,

you need to install the Argyll CMS driver for your instrument (menu “Tools”, “Install Argyll CMS instrument drivers…”).

Hmm, this seems to be the same problem as reported here:

    https://hub.displaycal.net/forums/topic/unable-to-download-argyll-cms-instrument-drivers/

Please try the 3.1.7.1 Beta 3 linked in that thread.
Edit: Please follow the instructions provided in the thread to update your 0install feeds, it should work after that.
