when I recently updated my PCLinuxOS install I got the message that DisplayCAL (ArgyllCMS for that matter)
wasn’t able to load the calibration because the nVidia driver had been updated to 367.27 and apparently there’s a conflictbetween ArgyllCMS and nVidia, or so it seems.
I’m looking at a beautifully colour managed screen & workflow and as an avid photographer
I can’t live without it anymore.
I had to revert to the older driver (352.63) to get back my colour managed workflow.
The question is if the problem has been solved now that a new driver (367.35) has been released?
Thanks & keep up the good work, cheers, Klaas.

The issue has to do with 10-bit support in nVidia drivers. See: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/925981/linux/364-12-gtx-660-can-t-access-videolut-to-load-display-profile/2/?offset=20

You need to compile the current Argyll CMS development sources to get compatibility with the latest nVidia drivers.

Thanks Florian!, that was quick. I’ll contact the devs at PCLinuxOS, or have a go at it myself.

    Cheers, Klaas.
