I plan on getting a new OLED display, which will have as always suggested 1000nits and 400 in true black. From what I understand Windows finally has color management that works, this display which doesn’t come at a low price I hope met the criteria necessary for true HDR.
As well I own the previous Generation of iDisplay Pro, rather then the current generation. What things are better between the current iDisplay Pro HL and my previous generation of iDisplay Pro. For a device which you are suppose to calibrate every two or three weeks that is rarely done, as well none of these companies offer trade up. I own a Spyder from the past and I know they are not good calibrators but it’s essentially useless now.
Also what is meant by low-light capabilities ?

Then keep your old i1DisplayPro, they age well

None for your display.

Be able to measure without color tint and without clipping to “0” very dark values. Be able to do that measurement quickly

What type of display would the Pro HL be effective at ?
