    Hi guy I am totally newbie hobbyist who is filming his own short films who is also looking to get in to somewhat accurate colour monitor athmosphar, right now I am working with view sonic 2k general monitor. Budget is around 500 dollars I seen few eizo cg older models on eBay for sale in my price range I am also planing to buy I1 display probe. I am not looking for 4k resolution since accuracy is more important and my

    Monitors I found on eBay and local

    EIZO COLOREDGE CX271 no 3d LUT but I am planing to use resolve for my 3d lut

    NEC Multisync PA272W Has 14-bit 3D internal programmable lookup tables (LUTs)

    ColorEdge CG277 I can get this one for 100 dollars

    Keep in mind that the panel of a second-hand monitor might be too worn out to accurately reproduce colors.

    Those are all hardware-calibrated monitors, so you will need a Pro /Plus version of that probe, which works with ColorNavigator and SpectraView II:

    • X-Rite i1 Display Pro or Pro Plus
    • Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro  or Pro Plus
    • Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro HL or Plus HL

    As somebody answered you in LGG PA272W “may” accept 24p but it is unlikely to play it smooth. Also SV2 is not free, you pay (or ar least it was paid)

    Also if you plan to use it for image editing rather than video 1080, CG277 HDMI is limited to FullHD 60Hz or QHD 30Hz so if you use a laptop without mDP compatible output it may be a no go. IDNK CX271, look for it specs.

    So it depends on what you are doing.
