So, what does the app do? I still have to understand the use case. Average vcgt? For what purpose?

It’s just a graph to show the user what the table values are while they are adjusting them.    The app is kind of like a glorified calibration  enforcer with a cal file editor tacked on.    It’s not anywhere near as sophisticated as DisplayCAL.   It’s been in development for a year now, done a lot of testing , getting close to releasing it.
