Python 2.7 was EOL in January 2020
It’s now March 2021 and DisplayCal is still requiring 2.7.
I’ve just installed a Fossa-based Linux, and quite correctly it no longer has 2.7 (and there isn’t a DisplayCal package for Fossa, so we have to hope Bionic will work OK)
When is this poor state of affairs going to be rectified?
“It’s a work in progress” is no answer – Python telegraphed their EOL of 2.7 for at least a year prior to the actual date.
Python 3 came 2008 and major migrations seemed to be in years around 2016. Probably 2021 is the right year to learn using ArgyllCMS manually.
