Hi guys, I’m sorry to be another noob that knows nothing =[.
I recently got my first calibrator, the xrite display pro. I then used it to calibrate my monitor using the sRGB settings but it made the grays lighter/washed out and greenish. I then used the default gamma 2.2 settings and it seems to have corrected it, however I believe there still might be some greens remaining in the dark grays. I ran a verification using the default settings “extended verification testchart” and the RGB gray balance looks kind of funky in the 0% and 5% values. Just wondering if anyone can take a look and see if everything looks normal. I attached the verification page, but lmk if you can open it or not, thanks.
I also have a problem with the calibration resetting when I restart windows. I uninstalled previous calibration software, and turned off the task scheduler but it still happens. Is there another thing I should look into, or is it recommended to calibrate the monitor using Nvidia control panel instead of the monitor itself for setting the white point?

There are three sources of “color” in greys:
-bad calibration (your display + VCGT calibration shows not very good “grey range”)
-calibration induced banding : nvidia or intel
-color management rounding errors: because you choose a profile with 3 independent TRCfrom report I cannot know the % of each one, but potential solutions (in order)
-calibration speed to low in calibration tab
-get an AMD card (or use DMWLUT to simulate dithered calibration)
-use “single curve + matrix” profile if display is good enough to be described in that idealized way.So try first slow calibration + singlecurve+matrix + black popint compensation and test.

Run task managed app, startup, disable XRgamma or basiccolor or datacolor calibration loader app.

2023-04-14 at 8:50 #39372Also colorimeter correction it’s wrong, it cannot be “White LED” (alone, without surname) with your measured R and G primaries.
It can be some QLED variant or WLED PFS phosphor (P3 flavor in both cases) -
