Hello,
I’ve been trying to make a correct XYZLUT profile with my Spyder4 to no avail. Measurement Reports turn out excellent, but actual image suffers, especially with posterization in the shadows. Taking a peek at the profile info, you can see some weird things going on with the tone response curves and the gamut boundaries. It really doesn’t matter if I calibrate first or not. It happens to all my monitors and my plasma TV. However, Curves + matrix profiles turn out fine and smooth.
Could you please take a look at the attached profile and 3D LUT and give me any clue? Is it my colorimeter or some setting that I need to change?
Thanks in advance.

Maybe I spoke too soon. This one actually looks great with movies. I still don’t get the weird curves though…
