MacBook Air M1 Ventura 13.1 Problems

I keep getting a seemingly endless series of alerts like “” “profcheck” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.” These continue to appear even after I have managed to grant permission for whatever is causing  the problem (which isn’t always possible). Also, when the calibration appears to have finished, the screen becomes black and the only way to return to a normal one is to force a shutdown and restart.  Is there any way to get this to work? Thanks!
