Hello friends,
I would like some advise regarding my pen display having low srgb gamut in the calibration results.
I am using a Spyder X Pro to calibrate a Huion Kamvas 22 Plus, which is said to be able to cover 140% of sRGB.
After the calibration is finished the result I get is a kinda low sRGB coverage and an unexpectedly high Adobe RGB coverage.
I have tried many times with different settings but the results is withing .5%.I would like someone to enlighten me regarding this matter.
Ps. Im completely new to calibration, i dont know many technical words, so please explain it to me as if i was a baby. Thank you in advance.
Cheers to all.

I am also kinda new to calibration, but I think I know what it is.
Your display is as advertised. But you know how the marketing team is. Gamut volume and coverage are kinda different. Volume is the total area of the display’s gamut, but just because a display has a high volume doesn’t mean that said volume falls inside the sRGB area. It could have a total area and shape 100% identical to sRGB, but if it’s not on top of the sRGB area it doesn’t cover 100% sRGB. If only half of it is on top of the sRGB area, then that display would have 100% sRGB volume, but only 50% coverage.
I think that’s how it works…
Again, if someone else that knows more about this stuff could confirm it would be nice ????Btw, I’m about to calibrate a similar huion kamvas that also has quantum dot technology. Do you mind telling me which correction you chose ? ????
Did you choose Samsung QLED Q9 or something else? Thanks in advance!

I will investigate this further to see if that is true.
As for calibration, I used Spyder X Pro using DisplayCal, which has no correction available, or other modes (at least for me. I have seen other people having correction and stuff but I don’t know how to get them)
Mine also has quantum dot technology so I might have many things wrong in the calibration process.
I used Mode: Generic and Correction: Auto(None)I would love to hear more from you and how you calibrated your Kamvas when you finish the process, as well as the hardware, software and steps you went through since it is very important to me and the future of my kamvas.
Cheers
