Hi!
I’m playing with his display.
It have couple of “intellectual” modes:
DFC
and
UNIFORMITY
How these settings affecting calibration? Should I use them?
Especially DFC works in the strange wayfor me. When it set to OFF, I can tune only BRIGHTNESS but CONTRAST is locked. When I turn it ON, I cam tune booth BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST, but with interactive calibration I can see that all changes I do woth BRIGHTNESS have no effect, and only changes in CONTRAST affecting the calibration slider’s position. Is it right? Should I use black/white point drift compensation if DFC set on?
Hi,
a quick google search seems to indicate that DFC is related to dynamic contrast, so should be switched off. Uniformity compensation (if that’s what the respective setting relates to) might be desirable on the other hand.
