Hi to everyone, I have a question regarding my monitor calibration.
Setup:
Eizo CG 2420
Ultra Studio Monitor 3G
Mini Converter SDI to HDMI 6G
Xrite i1 Display Pro
DaVinci 18.1 build 16
DisplayCal 3.8.9.3
I’m also sharing my calibration and setup parameters:
Color Navigator 7
Brightness: Manual 100 cd/m^2
Black level: Minimum
White point: standard value D65
Gamma (EOTF): Standard Input 2.4
Priority: Standard
Gamut: Native
Display Cal Parameters:
Attached to the post (too many parameters)
UltraStudio Monitor 3G:
SDI Output: VIdeo is converted to RGB 4:4:4
3G-SDI formats: Are output as SMPTE Level B
Mini Converter SDI to HDMI 6G:
Clip video output to legal levels: Checked
Eizo CG 2420:
Input Color Format: RGB
Input Range: Limited
Calibration report is also attached.
I’m questioning if I’m correctly managing levels and if I should use other settings especially in Display cal when selecting input and output encoding.
If I’m not mistaken my pipeline is:
FULL – Output from resolve
LIMITED – Mini Converter SDI to HDMI 6G inputs and then converts before processing (unfortunately the manual says nothing about internal pipeline)
LIMITED – Mini Converter SDI to HDMI 6G output with calibration LUT applied
FULL – EIZO CG2420 Limited range via input converts back levels to appropriate viewing parameters
My questions are:
Thanks for all the dedication and support,
Pietro
