Hi again,
I was wondering about Mode options in “Display and instrument” tab when using i1 pro 2, particularly about:
“LCD Adaptive HiRes” and “LCD HiRes” ?
Is one of these options better for creating colorimeter correction matrix?
And am I correct that “LCD Adaptive Hi Res” is the best(highest accuracy) option for doing calibration solely with ipro2? I based my conclusion on DisplayCal documentation in section “Choosing a measurement mode”
“LCD Adaptive HiRes” and “LCD HiRes” ?
Is one of these options better for creating colorimeter correction matrix?
Shouldn’t make much difference for colorimeter correction creation because that only requires measuring white + primaries. Adaptive mode improves dark readings, at the expense of increased measurement time (I would recommend to always use one of the adaptive modes for best precision).
And am I correct that “LCD Adaptive Hi Res” is the best(highest accuracy) option for doing calibration solely with ipro2?
Yes.
Thank you once again Florian.
