I’m having some technical issues with my blackmagic IO card and considering returning it and buying either a Quadro or Firepro instead. On the plus side I’d also get 10 bit real-time output for Photoshop which would be great – but on other forums I’ve gotten negative responses that I absolutely need an IO card for proper color

I haven’t heard any scientific data to back this up – using DisplayCal with a modern Firepro I assume I should be able to get some very accurate 10 bit calibrations? What am I missing  here ?

Depends on what you’re after, e.g. Photoshop will not be able to display through something like a blackmagic card, but Resolve will.
