I bought a used i1display (EODIS3-XR) manufactured in 2012 and I can’t seem to get it to work with anything. Calibrating on a dell xps laptop with and a BenQ SW271 monitor. I’d prefer to use DisplayCAL as I’ve heard great things but I’ve also tried the x-rite software, the BenQ software, and the Dell Premier Color software.
The log produces this error when I try to calibrate in DisplayCAL:

It seems unlikely that a device manufactured in 2012 could have a yet unknown lock code. Does the device work with the vendor software? If not, it may actually be defective (firmware?).
2019-12-05 at 19:25 #21457Agreed. No it’s not fully working with i1profiler. It says it’s connected, but not ready. Windows recognizes it as a device and seems to install the correct driver, but when it comes to actually trying to calibrate, nothing.
Also, amazing reply turnaround. Thank you.
