Hello
I want to calibrate an “HP 12” screen with a “i1 display studio” probe, so as to get better color rendering when printing Scribus DTP files…
My computer runs Ubuntu 20.10 ; i will switch to 21.04 soon… but I couldnt find a way to install DisplayCal on Ubuntu 20.10 or 21.04.
How can i install DisplayCal on a recent Ubuntu ?
Thanks in advance !
I hope is not too late, but I found the easiest way to install DisplayCal on latest Ubuntu versions: Just use the flatpack package.
You can find it in flathub [dot] org (I cannot post the link due to moderation)
Worked perfectly to me using Ubuntu 21.04 on a wayland session.
I recall when I installed on fedora 32 and 33 I needed to grab some dependencies from older versions.
Will definitely keep the flatpak in mind for next time.
