Hi! This is Eytan and I’m totally new to this calibration world.
I bought an i1display studio for calibrating my iMac late 2012. Right now I don’t have space on my desk for an external monitor but I would love to improve my knowledge and skill of color grading in Resolve. I’ve followed the instruction that I found here: https://hub.displaycal.net/wiki/3d-lut-creation-workflow-for-resolve/ in “creating 3D LUT for the GUI color viewer” but when I’m at this point “Use the interactive display adjustment window to adjust whitepoint and luminance before starting calibration/profiling measurements.” I can’t find the interactive display because the only thing that I can adjust in my iMac is the brightness, and without adjusting the whitepoint the result is very bad.
Now I wonder, is it possibile to calibrate an iMac for color correction in DaVinci Resolve? An external monitor is the only possibility for a decent color correction with an iMac?
Thank you very much if anyone can find the time to answer and help me!
