High ΔE via DisplayPort

Hello 🙂

I “upgraded” the HDMI cable to my monitor with a DisplayPort cable. Calibrating now gives me ΔE*76 averages of around 1.5 (with HDMI: 0.3) and maximums around 20 (with HDMI: 2.0). The gamut is identical.

To rule out a broken DisplayPort cable, I used the same cables on a different monitor where results did not differ.

I use a MacBook Pro, is there a setting I might have missed? How can the two cables deliver such different colors?
