    Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some guidance on calibrating the colors of two MSI MAG 32CQ6F monitors using DisplayCAL. These monitors will be used as side displays for my flight simulator setup.

My main monitor is a Dell AW3225QF, and I really like how its colors look right out of the box. I understand that I won’t be able to perfectly match its color performance with the MSI monitors, and that’s totally fine. However, the MSI displays currently look way overexposed and overly bright, even with basic adjustments.

I have a SpyderX Pro calibration device and would like to use it with DisplayCAL to improve the color accuracy of the MSI monitors. I’d really appreciate it if someone could guide me through the process, particularly:

What settings should I choose in DisplayCAL for these VA panel monitors?
Should I adjust any monitor settings (brightness, contrast, RGB) before starting the calibration?
Any tips on how to best match the color tone with my Dell monitor (even roughly)?
Thanks in advance for your help!
