I’ve tried to install DisplayCAL to my Kubuntu 20.04 boot to no avail. The .deb installer just tells me it is unable to meet dependencies without any further information, and when I try rpm I just keep getting errors about unmet dependencies including the alleged absence of Python <2.8 (which is odd since Python 2.7 is present).
Is this specific to KDE, or are other Ubuntu flavors being affected? Anybody know of a workaround?
Also, is DisplayCAL still being supported/developed? I ask because it’s been well over a year since the last update, but it looks like there were pretty regular updates until that point. Just wondering if and when I might hope for an update, since I need to set up a workflow on my new PC (and I would prefer not to use Windows).
