Error – new_disprd() failed with 'Instrument Access Failed'

Hello!

I’ve been struggling for hours trying to get DisplayCAL to function properly. I am using it with a Colormonki Display. I install that and Argyll (via the instructions on their website) and I keep getting this same error over and over, no matter what I try. It works just fine in X-Rite. I have it in a USB 2.0. I restarted, reinstalled, et al to no avail. Any help is much appreciated. My log is below. Thanks!

It works just fine in X-Rite

Stop and disable the “X-Rite Device Services Manager”, and make sure no other software is accessing the device (i.e. close the ColorMunki software if running).
