    Aye-o,

I calibrated my computer monitor using DisplayCAL. I’m now going to use this same computer to calibrate the TV in my living room (I’ll be using HCFR for that) My question is: will the color profile affect the calibrating of my living room TV? In other words–When calibrating my living room TV, should I remove the color profile that is running on the PC itself?

So if I understand you correctly, you want to calibrate your TV using your computer, and HCFR is software that works by walking you through your TV’s built-in image adjustments while a colorimeter is attached to the screen & fed to the computer? If so, then just make sure DisplayCal is disabled & maybe clear the gamma table.

+1. ALso HCFR configuration allows to clear video LUT. I woudl say that it is enabled by default but I do not remember.
