I was looking through the presets and I have a question about D65 and chromaticity coordinates between “Office & Web” and sRGB presets, pictures links.

    So, what is your question?

    So, what is your question?

In “Office & Web” and in general if you select D65 the coordinates are: x 0.3128, y 0.3292, in “sRGB” preset they are: x 0.3127, y 0.3290,  also D65 is 6500K and in sRGB D65 is 6504K, are they the same in the calibration results or they are somehow different? And which one is the correct one?

The “Office & Web” preset doesn’t use the D65 coordinates. D65 is not 6500 K, it’s 6504 K (or in chromaticity x 0.3127 y 0.329) as you noticed. In practice, this difference is negligible though, and the former preset is aimed at people who may be less familiar with chromaticity coordinates or may be confused by 6504 instead of the more common 6500 K target.

One thing that I’ve noticed, calibrating to D65 via chromacity coordinates (sRGB preset is set to chromaticity coordinates by default a.k.a. 6504K) gave me slightly better calibration result than 6500K (Office & Web defaults).
