Do i need a correction file for a iiYama PL2481H? It is a TN panel, LED- backlit.
Thanks!, Klaas.
NB: same question; is a correction file (ccmx/ccss) necessary for an iMac 21,5”? Which is an IPS panel.
Thanks again, Klaas.
Ideally you’d want one that is specifically made for your display + instrument combination(s), but this basically requires owning a spectrometer. If you have an i1 DisplayPro or ColorMunki Display, the next best thing are the X-Rite corrections you can import from the vendor software. The online colorimeter corrections database is also an option, but as it contains user-contributed files the usefulness of those is up to evaluation for each specific situation.
Hi Florian, i tried to import X-Rite corrections for Color Munki Display (from the web?), but it says “No colorimeter corrections could be imported”. Why does this happen, and how can i access these corrections?
[UPDATE] I attached a screenshot. Are these the X-Rite corrections? Because they are located under ProgramFiles/ArgyllCMS.

Yes. LCD RG Phosphor should be usable for your display.
