    Hello everyone,

It could be that my device has an auto-calibration problem…

Do any of you own this spectrometer ?
If so, could you run three Argyll commands and let me know your results ?

    – to display the firmware of your device :
    spotread -v

    – to save the spectrum during the calibration of the device :
    spotread -Y W:fname.sp

    – to plot this spectrum in L*a*b D50 values :
    specplot fname.sp

According to Argyll, my device measures its ceramic white tile with L*a*b D50 values: 97.2342 / -0.3794 / 1.2880

Thank you in advance for your answers.
I wish you a happy new year !

    Or…

Could someone advise me on a procedure to check the correct self-calibration of the spectrophotometer?

Ask in ArgyllCMS maillist. I do not own a colormunki photo/design/i1studio so i cannot help you with its particular operation for self correction.

    Thanks Vincent for your reply.

I have already subscribed to the Argyll mailing list but no one has been able to help me… That’s why I posted my request on this forum.
