I upgraded from 3.1 to 3.11. Before so, had quick the tray’s profile loader as suggested. After upgrade, I ran dispCal. Ran ok. Then I went to the windows menu and found the profile loader. I selected it to start it. It appeared in the tray. I clicked the tray icon and a modal error dialog box appeared saying “Local variable ‘pos’ referenced before assignment” This is reproducible. Every time I left click the tray icon, I get this modal error box. The log has the same error in it.

Hi,
have you set the taskbar to “Always hide automatically”?
I don’t know how to answer that question.
If I right-click on my taskbar and choose properties, there is an option there named “Auto-hide the taskbar”.
That option is checked.
Yes, that’s what I meant. Try this: http://displaycal.net/temp/DisplayCAL-3.1.1.1-win32.zip
I use zero install.
What should I do with that ZIP?
You can just close the profile loader and then launch DisplayCAL-apply-profiles.exe after unpacking the ZIP.
this fixed my issue
Thanks. Will do a stable release with the fix shortly.
I no longer encounter the model error when I left-click on the tray icon using the ZIP you attached above and following your install steps.
Instead, I get a big square area with a lot of detail info in it. I think this is expected behavior.
Yes, thanks. The 3.1.2 stable release also contains the fix.
