Linux compatable colorimeter

Hi

I hope this is not to dumb, a question but are all the Colorimeters listed on your site linux mint 18.2 (Ubuntu 16.04, Xenial) compatible? I’m very new to this. I tried to print some of my art work but its coming out very dark. I have been advised to calibrate my monitor.

I need a to buy a budget colorimeter any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Please ignore this question as after further study,
I realize what colorimeters are compatible with Linux.
Also a work around is to take the ICC profile from windows, and inport it into linux.
(same graphics card, same monitor)
