Error – new_disprd failed with ‘Instrument Access Failed’ w SpyderX

I’ve tried using DisplayCal on 3 different Macs and I get this error every time. I’m wondering if this is an issue w my SpyderX.

Any thoughts or workarounds?

Try a different USB port preferably on the main USB bus not on a peripheral.

I get that error when using my i1Pro with a USB port on my keyboard or monitor.

Those maybe don’t have enough power supplied. Maybe? I’m not a techy.
