I’m not sure if this a bug, of course please categorize to Not a Bug if not. I just want to raise this to your attention.

By the way, DisplayCAL should be newly opened instance.

  1. Hi,

    the nature of the problem is actually the opposite – this option shouldn’t suddenly become available when switching tabs, but stay disabled (if it was initially disabled). It doesn’t impact anything other than visual UI inconsistency though, and will be fixed with the next update.
