X-rite Colormunki Smile & Mac OS X 10.15 Catalina (64bit)

Hello.

X-Rite mentions on their website that the “Colormunki Smile” does not support Mac OS X 10.15 Catalina because Catalina is 64bit only an they will not further develop the old 32bit software-versions for the “Colormunki Smile”.

Is there any chance that DisplayCAL (which I have not used until now) supports the Colormunki Smile under Mac OS X 10.15 Catalina? Or do I have to upgrade my hardware?

ArgyllCMS has 64bit executables for MacOS. Check if that devoce is supported.

Anyway, that smile is very unlikely to support newer LED backlights in a “generic way” without a spectrophotometer so unless you had one at your disposal to correct colorimeter, plan to upgrade to i1Displaypro.
IDNK which mac you own. If it has P3 screen (WLED PFS) you have that limitation right now even if Xrite had 64bit software for your device.
