I have a SpyderX Pro currently is it good or should I buy something else?

I’m surprised it’s not covered in the FAQ.

Not future proof, ypu’ll need an spectrophotometer to correct colorimeter for new backlights. With an i1d3 you can use distributed CCSS corrections fro same backlight type

Can you link me to a product that works with $400 max?

A spectrophotometer costs way too much 2k, does it do TVs as well or just computers.

You’ll need a colorimeter correction suitable for your display (whatever it is). ANy i1d3 will do the job with the proper CCSS: i1Displaypro, i1Display pro Plus (both for monitors / TV with HW cal support), i1display studio (slower, no support for HW calibration but full ArgyllCMS support)
