Ubuntu – auto generated icc?

Hi,

Im not sure if the profile edid-ca742227ff6897339bbe106e6a3f6875.icc (see attached screenshot) is generated on startup or when I install the DisplayCAL made profile. As far as I can tell its been generated (after I deleted it) both on startup and when installing with DisplayCAL.

Why does that profile keep showing up? And what does it do?

Furthermore, I see no difference regardless if the profile is activated or not?

Hi,

the “edid-…” profile is generated by the system.
