Not allowed to edit my own post

I am not allowed to edit my own post while it is being moderated, but I need to add important information to it. Seems a little absurd. Even if you wanted to see the original, I’d edit it after and it would need moderation–again. Why not just let me edit it?

Why can’t I edit this post either? What kind of absurd rule is this? Fixing typos is a crime now?

There is a time limit and number of edits limit. Just add a correction in next message on the same thread.

I was trying to edit my other post immediately after posting, and I had not edited it previously.
