    Hi!

I’m a digital colorist (I work on DaVinci Resolve)

I have just bought a MSI p75 laptop (windows) so I can work on project when I’m on the road and I’m wondering what’s the best way to calibrate the display.. can you help?

I’m gonna use a xrite  color munki, display cal and I also found a way to adjust the individual RGB bars using the built in “true color” software.

I need the display to be as accurate as possible.

I was talking to other professionals and they said there’s no way to properly calibrate a laptop as I’m on Windows and  VCGT are active… It would be  just a 1D Grey Scale ‘LUT’.Not a calibration, as it has no gamut component.

    thanks!

    Hi,

Resolve on Windows doesn’t support ICC profiles, but it has 3D LUT capability. See the Resolve color viewer calibration guide in the Wiki.
