    Hello everyone!

I hope you’re healthy in these hard times.

I’m trying to calibrate MacBook Pro 16; of course everything following the instructions on DispalCal wiki “Creating a 3D LUT for the GUI color viewer”.
I was looking for a way to adjust white point and RGB and found a program in AppStore called “Gamma Control 6”, where I can control white point etc.

Unfortunately, it looks like DisplayCal is disabling “Gamma Control 6” settings. (sets the brightness to the level set in the system preferences).

Do you know any other way to set white point and RGB on MacBook Pro’s display?

    Hi,

those adjustments are usually done in software and thus conflict with calibration. You’re better off letting the calibration handle it.

Does it mean, that there is possible to calibrate a MacBook roughly without setting white point and RGB?

If so, what settings (e.g. white point as measured) should I set in DisplayCAL?
