Vincent(or any other expert here) what do you think about the new vp2786 4k  in confront of dell?

Does FOGRA and Pantone certification and validation  mean a better panel then 2785, must of all about uniformity?

Price quite equal to dell up27q

    Regards

FOGRA certification means nothing since you can send n-samples till ONE pass the test, just have to paid on each sample. Take a look:
    https://fogra.org/en/certification/prepress-technology/softproof-monitor
Of course Eizo won’t send any CS for certification, it’s business strategy.

Pantone certification is even more relaxed. Read what means… if published.

(AFAIK) Viewsonic software, like Eizo CN, does not support WLED PFS (AdobeRGB green flavor) but you can do the same thick as with Color Navigator. Replace EDRs with the ones from Eizo APAC ***if*** those new Viewsonic use WLED PFS backlight. Maybe some iser uploaded a CCSS to community database.

Would I pay 1500 euro for an VP2786-4K having CS2740 for the same price or +30% price? No way unless you can find reliable reviews where Uniformity compensation does not destroy contrast if UC active is the only way to get good deltaC uniformity. YMMV.
