Attempting to calibrate monitor and receiving the following error from Resolve, see attached photos for reference.
Please advise, thanks.2019-05-18 at 1:34 #17510
Is DisplayCAL running on the same machine as Resolve? Then you can also use a local connection (
127.0.0.1).2019-05-18 at 1:39 #17511
Issue resolved, ArgyllCMS not installed.
On another note, receiving the following prompt and am unsure on how to proceed.
Thanks.2019-05-18 at 1:45 #17513
If you’re only using the profile to create a Resolve 3D LUT, you’re not affected.2019-05-18 at 22:31 #17525
After successfully connecting my probe and completing profiling through DisplayCal I received the attached prompt. When applied to the 3D Video Monitor Lookup Table in Resolve this LUT rendered an image best described as looking like False Color.
Following this, on my second attempt as per the prompt I disabled “Apply calibration (vcgt)” as well as “Create 3D LUT after profiling.” Upon completing profiling and manually generating the 3D LUT this second attempt yielding results similar to the first.
I am unaware of how to reset the video card gamma tables as per the prompt.
Please advise, thanks.2019-05-19 at 1:11 #17533
If you only use the profile to create a 3D LUT for Resolve, you can ignore the above message. Make sure you are using the default extended display update delay for Resolve (1000 ms). What the profile self check error (shown after profiling is finished)?2019-05-19 at 4:28 #17539
What the profile self check error (shown after profiling is finished)?
I don’t understand.
Attached is an image of how the 3D LUT generated with DisplayCal renders when applied in Resolve.2019-05-19 at 5:12 #17541
What is the proper profile type to select from the dropdown menu below?2019-05-19 at 15:47 #17550
I don’t understand.
You get a window showing the profile self check error after the process is finished. See the Resolve guide in the Wiki. You likely have loads of measurement errors.
What is the proper profile type to select from the dropdown menu below?
XYZ LUT. Use the “3D LUT for Resolve” preset (under settings), it’ll automatically set everything up for you.2019-05-19 at 16:05 #17552
This is the profile self check error running at 1000ms.2019-05-19 at 16:08 #17554
That looks reasonable.2019-05-19 at 16:11 #17555
What causes the image to look like ?2019-05-19 at 16:13 #17557
Please attach the profile (“Create compressed archive” next to settings).2019-05-19 at 16:18 #17558
I’ve attached the zip file.2019-05-19 at 16:44 #17560
That looks fine as well. Can you attach the source image/frame (no LUT) from above?
