Is DisplayCAL running on the same machine as Resolve? Then you can also use a local connection (localhost or 127.0.0.1).

If you’re only using the profile to create a Resolve 3D LUT, you’re not affected.

    New Issue.

After successfully connecting my probe and completing profiling through DisplayCal I received the attached prompt. When applied to the 3D Video Monitor Lookup Table in Resolve this LUT rendered an image best described as looking like False Color.

Following this, on my second attempt as per the prompt I disabled “Apply calibration (vcgt)” as well as “Create 3D LUT after profiling.” Upon completing profiling and manually generating the 3D LUT this second attempt yielding results similar to the first.

I am unaware of how to reset the video card gamma tables as per the prompt.

    Please advise, thanks.

If you only use the profile to create a 3D LUT for Resolve, you can ignore the above message. Make sure you are using the default extended display update delay for Resolve (1000 ms). What the profile self check error (shown after profiling is finished)?

What the profile self check error (shown after profiling is finished)?

    I don’t understand.

Attached is an image of how the 3D LUT generated with DisplayCal renders when applied in Resolve.

What is the proper profile type to select from the dropdown menu below?

    I don’t understand.

You get a window showing the profile self check error after the process is finished. See the Resolve guide in the Wiki. You likely have loads of measurement errors.

What is the proper profile type to select from the dropdown menu below?

XYZ LUT. Use the “3D LUT for Resolve” preset (under settings), it’ll automatically set everything up for you.

This is the profile self check error running at 1000ms.

That looks fine as well. Can you attach the source image/frame (no LUT) from above?
