    Hello

Since I’m a very newbie to this world, my question can be too very silly.

I found that I can make a correction for colorimeter (i1 display series) with spectrophotometer (i1 pro series).

Then how can I correct the spectrophotometer?

It seems that spectrophotometers have self calibration mode, but is that sufficient enough?

If I buy an old used spectrophotometer, Can I trust its self calibration?

You can’t correct a spectro.  A spectro is supposed to be the reference so it kind of defeats the purpose and they don’t include a feature like this.

Only by the manufacturer could a spectro really be “corrected”, and for the i1 Pro 2 for example even the manufacturer as I understand it can’t “correct” it, but they will tell you how it currently performs.
