Color Delta E question

Hi Florian. I was wondering if you could answer a question for me.

On your verification report, does the Delta E number for each color refer to the three elements that make up each color (Lumanance, saturation, and hue) or does the Delta E only refer to one of these?

Delta E is computed from three-dimensional color coordinates (usually CIE L*a*b*, with L* being the lightness component, a* the green-red component, and b* the blue-yellow component). You can read more on the Wikipedia color difference article.
