So – my Dell UP3017Q OLED monitor is obviously a prototype with faults .
Some nasty purple “degradation” has appeared on the upper right part of the monitor (see attachment 1)
I have talked to Dell, they acknowledged the problem, but can’t give me a new UP3017Q (they can provide a UP3218K, if I send the UP3017Q back to them).
So – not much I can do with the “degradation”. So I have decided to make the resolution of the screen smaller in height (in order to avoid the “bad” areas on the top) (see attachment 2)
My problem now – is that when I define a custom resolution in nVidia control panel (running a quadro P2000), it changes the resolution from center.
Eg If i want 30 px less height – it takes 15 px from bottom and 15 px from top. (see attachment 3)
What I want – is change of resolution from bottom, only affecting the top.
Is that possible?
