Calibration stuck at grey patch

I’m trying to calibrate an AOC G2470VWH with a spyder 5 pro

Displaycal is set to 6500k, 2.2 and 120cdm like I usually do but this time when I calibrate this monitor its stuck at the grey patch before it starts to let me adjust the RGB channels on the monitor OSD. Can someone help me fix this?

I’ve tried restarting the computer (Windows 10) and reinstalling displaycal and the problem persists

attached log file, also noticed that the displaycal windows tray icon is grey now instead of the usual colorful icon

sorry the problem was really dumb i had a third monitor that i didn’t have power but had its hdmi plugged in and the menu popped up there so i unplugged the hdmi and proceeded
