calibration quits before saving profile

I’m calibrating and profiling my Viewsonic monitor on a Mac M1 mini and having issue where just as calibration completes it quits to displaycal window and I am not given option to save new profile. Is anyone else having this issue?  I’m using current version of DisplayCal  (3.8.9.3) and have combined Argyll current version with beta version as others have suggested to fix issue with running on Mac M1 and Big Sur.
